Ortho Sprayer Bottle
Webb deVlam for The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company
Project Goals: Research found that consumers associated the Ortho brand with chemicals, and saw the packaging as generic. Our goal was to transform the brand into one that is viewed as contemporary, and imagined for everyday use at home. To do this, we would redesign Ortho’s sprayer bottle, which is shared across four different brands. Result: The design is more ownable for Ortho, and stands out on shelf. It is also easier to manufacture, eliminating extra trimming, material, and shrink films. Role: Project manager & designer for Webb deVlam. Responsibilities included research, concept sketches, renderings, and CAD development.
